If a team is playing really well why trade.... if a team is really struggling sometimes its hard to make a trade that works.

I really don't think that this thread is exclusively about this time of year or not trading when the team is doing well, to be honest it's not about trading at all. Participation shouldn't be measured by an amount of trades. This goes on during the sim season as well.

Off topic from the above, this excerpt is from the league rules "As a General manager you will need to actively pursue ways to make your team better via trades, UFA selections or any means available". There are some GMs who aren't active and their teams are bad and it's obvious nothing is being done to really change that. Anyone have thoughts on this?
