What is kind of interesting is that despite having a lower per capita income, retail sales per capita is higher in Edmonton than in Calgary. Yes, I am sure the jokes will write themselves there.

I just meant the Alberta economy dipping. Which I believe was the point in the subject line... Didn't mean it as a point between cities. Just meant that a bad economy will trigger crime anywhere.
