JP's trade value will be absolutely massive by season's end if he keeps it up - though I don't think he should get moved anytime soon anyway. Even though the average is a bit low rookie catchers who hits 20+ bombs and drive in 65-75 runs don't come along too often. He would easily be leading MLB in rookie RBIs and HRs if he had played the 20 extra games trumbo and freeman have over him.
Also and more importantly, the bad defence stuff is a load of crap. He is not great but certainly not the worst around already, he has improved defensively pretty much all season and his game calling ability is worlds better than a guy like Wieters who gets all kinds of d credit because of his cannon throwing arm and has a 10 cent head calling games in the majors.
D'Arnaud still has AAA before he should get promoted and if JP continues to improve who knows who gets moved. Has a long ways to go defending baserunners but watching him every night you can see him improving every week.
