JP is also on pace for 20 HRs as a rookie catcher. Not to mention he played with a disclocated thumb. He has went through tough times for sure but that is expected from a rookie.
In my opinion, Jays should hold onto JP.
D'Arnaud I bet is a couple of years away. Hitting is the area he will need to work on, I bet next season he spends the full year at AAA.
When they try to acquire a #1, I bet they move a pitching prospect.
There is no way AA will overpay for a pitcher.... He has a pattern, he will look for the player the team has given up on (i.e. like Lawrie, Rasmus or Escobar or Morrow).
