I think in extreme SW Missouri we had the 3rd or 4th hottest day since 1950 ...110 F similar as Wichita. Normally you like a bit of a breeze but today any time that breeze picked up it was like the burst of hot air you get when you open the oven. Monday we are supposed to get a break with temps "only" 99 F or something. Since the last week or so of June we've only had 3 or 4 days below 100 F for highs.
I really don't want to see our power bill....but i have no issues with keeping my house at 78-82 F when I'm in it. I really just laugh at the few people trying to keep their lawn green.
