I burn it off with a Blow Torch like I'm finishing off a Creme Brule.

Also ... I've never heard it referred to as top to bottom or vice versa. Only front to back and back to front. Also, I'm pretty sure a girl going back to front is a recipe for disaster. So this is probably a men only difference.
