Not really frustrated with how he turned out because it is what many guys like him do turn out like. Baseball prospects are tough to project.
The guy has been a jerk from his younger days through the minors and carried it into the majors. He is young enough to change but based on his act in the Cardinals clubhouse didn't seem like he was going to do it there and he doesn't have enough talent to justify his poor attitude.

there's been stuff about how him and La Russa haven't gotten along, but most of that I have read has been blamed on La Russa (who has had problems with a ton of players)
