Really is going to be a frenzy out there for team management...from getting everything up and running logsitically, for training camp, workouts, playbooks, training regiments in a few days. Tickets and all that sorted out on the administrative side. Then, coaches shaking hands long enough to pat you on the back as you leave as the team has found someone else in the massive pool of FA's that are out there.
My Seahawks have a lot of that going on...the second or 3rd most cap room to play with in the league (something like $20mil+...and not a cheap team like BUF or CIN historically, so they can and will spend), a veteran QB who may/may not/probably will/ be back (for continuity if nothing else at this point), and holes along both lines...a new OC and other coaches.
This from a team who had an incredible amount of roster moves last year in the first place.
How each and every team management performs in the next 6 days, more so then any other year, will go a long way in determining, at least for this season, the immediate fate of their team. Get it right and get the lower tier FA guys on the cheap since there are so many out there, and you're well on your way...wait omn your hands too long or get a name player who is terribly out of shape for some reason after this offseason, and you've blown it.
Very interesting to be sure.
