Awesome. Well done.

I think that's where I was at. I was unhappy with myself and my life. And if you are unhappy with something, you have to make the change. I think the issue with most obese people is that they ARE happy. There is no motivation to lose to weight. Pizza and beer while watching the hockey game ... family, a home, white picket fence and all that... only reason to lose the weight is because the doctor says you should. Sometimes that isn't enough motivation.

As for the AA thing, it is something like that. Someone by PM recommended Overeaters Anonymous to me and I have dropped in a few times. It amazed me how many thin people like myself were in the group.... people that had been addicted to food and are dealing with that addiction the same as any drug. I swear, pizza is like crack cocaine to me. I desire it at every moment of my waking life. Just this last Monday I bought the Pizza Hut Panormous Pizza and ate the whole thing in 20 minutes and wanted more. I had to run half-marathons on Tuesday, Friday and this morning to burn off that pizza. Was 20 minutes of pizza worth 6 hours of running? Not really... but I couldn't help myself. I'm addicted.
