Man, I really didn't want to be posting in this thread. Probably because I'm afraid of being held accountable. And partly because I thought I wouldn't need the motivation of this thread to lose weight. But reading some of the stories on here is truly inspiring.
I've always been a more muscular guy and the fat on my body is pretty well distributed, making it not as noticeable. So being 5"11 and 228 lbs, I still look fairly fit, with obvious areas of improvement. But I've always wanted to get down to 195.
In April of this year, I started eating healthy and working out more. I actually got down to about 214. But after about a month my motivation started to slip and I gained back the weight.
So here I am. Starting weight of 227 today. My goal is to lose 12 lbs over the next 4 weeks.
