It's not really surprising or difficult to understand. Most extremist groups have as much anger towards non-extremist elements of their own society as they do toward the external enemy. Look at the number of bombings in Iraq and Afghanistan targeted toward muslim civilians. The fundamentalists are angry that so many people are working with the external forces; this guy seems to be no different: his anger is equally directed at muslims as well as at those elements of Norwegian society/government that tolerate or encourage muslim immigration.
