I know freemasonary beliefs are not considered a religion, and in fact i was under the impresion that freemason are forbidden to talk/relate/whatever about any religion at all while being among each other. I guess that doesnt preclude one from prcticing any particular religion outside the freemason belief sytem, but it does seem rather counter-productive if one si a practicing christian/muslim or whatever you kind of sect you wish to include.
Just seems odd to me that one would join a group that forbids indoctrination about your belief system when one is so hell bent in those very beliefs as this wingnut appeared to be. Afterall, any extremist from any particular group is bound by their beliefs to further the message through sharing the "word" and acting in defense of it at any opportunity.
At any rate, regardless of this guys religion or social network adherance, this is a massive tragedy for Norway and is why i stay on the fence about the death penalty continuously. No reason this scumbag should ever see the light of day again once his trial is over and authorities have all the information from him they need to try and prevent this from happening again.
