Looking back at things like Columbine and Virginia Tech (I realize they are different because they were school shootings, but this was a camp shooting so similar in that scenario), I am surprised (happy) that only 13 and 32 people died in those tragedies respectively (not saying those are low numbers but saying more so that the damage could have been much worse, especially in Colorado). It's a good thing that in Columbine that Harris and Klebold were too stupid to make good bombs in the cafeteria otherwise they could have killed a lot more (closer to this number of 80). In the Virginia Tech case, Cho killed 32 people but again after locking Norris Hall, the damage could have been much worse. It sucks when stuff like this happens, just seems so surreal. I echo the thoughts in this thread when people said I don't know how someone can get to this point and open fire on kids. Shoot yourself in the head if you get to that point but don't kill innocent people. Disgusting.
