So, I know this has been discussed a million times on here but we love rehashing old stuff, right?

Anyways, I'm just wondering what everyone recommends as far as getting the 'perfect shave.'

I've tried different techniques, different shavers, different shaving cream, aftershave, etc, etc....and I just can't seem to figure out how to actually get a perfect shave.

I get skin irritations/razor burn on the right side of my face everytime I shave, and no matter what kind of after shave, moisturiser or lotion I will use afterwards, I can't get it to heal/go away before I shave again.

I've shaved in the shower, after showering, before showering....everything. As long as I can remember I've had the same problem with the razor burn.

Is there a special cream, special shaving cream, special shaver, special lotion....anything that would help? I remember using the Mach 3 razor, and I think that helped me get a pretty shave, but the latest Gillette crap has always given me problems.

I can get blades for the Mach 3, but can't find the actual handle part. Unless I haven't looked in the right place.

Any help would be appreciated.
