You need an in-transit permit from the originating state (Oregon), but also need to verify that the permit is valid in each State you pass through. State Govt's in the NW tend to work together, and I'd be
amazed if there's any problems.
Have your insurer but a binder in place, drive it to Alberta, get an inspection, get it registered and PICS OR DIDN'T HAPPEN.
