Salt and Pepper closed and moved to Inglewood now. Got a good indian place there now though, guys there now, used to own raj doot downtown before it changed IIRC.
One thing, if you're moving out there because of cheap lot prices, you need to take into account your increased vehicle costs. I used to live in the far north and then moved downtown(i don't work downtown) and i look at my old fuel bills for the month and my eyes go
Yeah i drive a gas guzzling truck. but the difference between my gas bills from 2 years ago and now nearly cover my rent, and thats excluding wear and tear on my vehicle from those extra kms.
