Saw it yesterday, meh, I don't see how it was any darker than the first two. Still way too many jokes in there, agreed with whoever said John Turturro's character is just a complete waste of time. Really happy that they basically cut Shia's parents down to one scene, especially his mom, man I hate her in those movies. I hate all the little supposedly funny, small, harmless Transformers. They're just stupid. I just wish this series took itself more seriously, its my biggest problem with these movies.
I will say though that I found this one entertaining. Saw it in 3D (as I'm sure most of you did). Not a big 3D fan, but this one was worth it. Easily the best effects I've ever seen in a movie besides Avatar. The acting's terrible, I wish Shia LaBeouf would just die a terrible, terrible death already. But its a good popcorn movie (I know how much some of you love that term, still the best way to describe it though), and worth it for the effects if you like that kind of stuff. Poor Chicago. One last thing I'll say, and judge me however you want, I really don't care. But I'd also put it up with Avatar in the sense that you should probably be high when you see this one, if you're into that sort of thing.
6/10 (Acting: 4/10, Effects: 9.5/10)
