Sadly, most salmon farms are located in the river mouths which are the major spawning migration routes for salmon. As a result of this, all salmon, even 'wild' salmon, get a good does of the hormones, anti-biotics, chemical nutrients, and other crap that the farms put into their waters.
Clearly, 'wild' salmon will have a much lower concentration of these things in their bodies, but all salmon will have some as they are all getting at least two doses of this chemical cocktail during their lifecycle.
