From my understanding, it's a school where people go if they want to become a registered massage therapist (RMT). As a student, you need to give X amount of hours of massages before you're ceritiied.
This gives the students the opportunity to get good hands on experience and a client only pays $10 for a hour long massage. This works out because I don't think the students get paid. This is an excellent way for the school to get people who want massages instead of asking students to bring friends and family members.
