If you're close to someone who loses their life because they drove while under the influence I have a hard time believing you would say, "the idiot deserved it." If you show sympathy towards a loved one who chose to drink and drive, then you're a hypocrite.
I will say that if Dunn was arrested and charged for DUI, I wouldn't feel sorry for him. But, losing your life is the ultimate debt to pay for a senseless act and showing some sympathy isn't too much to ask.

Just read the post right above the one of mine you quoted and you would understand where it was taken from.
But since you took the time to respond, I'll do the same. People know drinking and driving is dangerous. We are warned all the time and yet people still do it. Of course I would feel horrible if a loved one died, but then doesn't mean they weren't an idiot for drinking and driving.
It's a choice people make. Live (or die) with the consequences.
