I said 180 wasn't necessarily extreme in "some circumstances". We don't know everything that led up to the crash at this point, but yeah, no doubt speed didn't help.
I'll bet there are many on this board that have driven that fast in a performance car (or worse) and can vouch for the fact that it's not the craziest thing you can do.

No doubt many cars can go faster than 180 including the 911, but that's irrelevant. If he crashed into something at 180 then it's pretty much instant death. That's crazy fast to crashing into something at while on a public road.
