Anyhow, your point
seemed to be that since Jesus has stuck around so long, he can't be a myth. My point is that other gods and deities and whatnot have also stuck/stick around for thousands of years under some pretty trying circumstances. I'm not an expert (like you) on the religious habits of every native person in North America, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that some of them still hold onto the old beliefs. By your standards then, those old beliefs must not be myths.
