However, I'm in the camp that would have let the dickheads play through and then report them later. The swings from the 7 iron didn't come until after the OP retaliated by not putting the pin back in. Then the Koreans took his driver. Then the OP drove his cart towards the Koreans to confront them. All that stuff did was ramp up the potential for violence.
So we have not one but two intentional acts by the other group that have the obvious potential to cause serious injury, a rather innocuous act of leaving a pin lying on the ground, the other group confronting the OP and taking his club (they confronted him, not the other way around), the other group taking swings at the OP with a 7 iron for having the audacity to attempt to do exactly what they were doing by taking his club, and finally the other group preventing the OP from leaving the situation by blocking the cart, and the OP is being accused of ramping up the potential for violence? You've got to be kidding me. The only party in the whole scenario who didn't act in a manner that could very easily have lead to serious injury was the OP. Every action by the other group was intended to create a confrontation.

Honestly, I commend the OP for restraining himself. I'm not so sure that faced with the same situation I wouldn't have unloaded on that guy.
