Depending on the year, the NL has a lower ERA by roughly 0.1-0.5
It can be pretty difficult to quantify as well, as the AL is arguably a better league, which has more talented pitchers.
And, although the sample size is small, Halladay seems to be even more dominating in the NL and striking out more batters.
