So I'm gettin' hitched June 30th, then going on a Honeymoon for 14 days starting on the 3rd week in August. We want to fly into Nice, and fly home from Rome. I lived near Nice for 5 months, so I know a fair bit about that area, but I've never been to Italy. We enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and swimming, etc. as well as cultural/historical places. I was thinking of maybe seeing wineries, chateaux, ruins, cheese...factetc. We will be White water swimming (Hydrospeed they call it - do it if your ever in Provence) early in the trip near Nice, then all bets are off. I'd like to fit Venice in too.

We might rent a car or take transit. Whatever works
