Yeah, we'll see. I'll take my 300 horses (naturally aspired) and put it against that GM junk. I know one of the product trainers (the GM proving grounds are here in Phoenix, out in Mesa) and he was all hyped about the car when it was on the drawing board, but now that its been released he's found it to be terribly under-powered and a worse performer in the corners, and hugely disappointed. Having driven the Solstice I don't think a more powerful engine is going to help it. If the car won't handle, why bother? I'll give GM credit, they are at least trying. Not succeeding in any shape or form, but they are trying. GM has a problem with over-promising and under-delivering. The Solstice/Sky platform is another in a long line of swings and misses IMO. I'll keep my Jap scrap.
