No way it was a bluff, agent told the Flames they were willing to have the player go back into the draft as they felt Erixon would be drafted higher than 23rd.
At that point, it was a Flames decision... which in my view was really simple. They try to obtain maximum amount of assets in return that exceed's a 54th overall pick.
As for the last statement. Most if not all of the concerns which was aired on the Radio that Feaster described were from the Previous Management.
Concern's the agent brought up describe D. Sutter fairly well. (old players vs. young players.... ie not giving the young players the opportunity. Cap heavy team with lots of NMC, AHL was prefered over Europe... )
Now its Feaster's job to make sure this perception goes away.....
