Pelech looked NHL ready when he was given his 5 game chance at the end of 2009.
You can't really evaluate without at least a 10 game opportunity.
If in the 10 games opportunity that Pelech might have been given had he got into a couple fights and held his own in the Heavy weight division he would be looking at a 100 plus game NHL career a la Rick Rypien.
I know that he clear waivers but that happens early in the season when other teams are still hopeful for the guys they had in camp.

I thought Pelech would make the team actually from camp. I darn near had him penciled in as a number 5. Fact of the matter is he was not good enough though to make the team from camp. Was it the injury, possible. Since that time Feaster has come out and said Pelech is not NHL ready. This is on Pelech not on Feaster, for Pelech to change the Flames organization's mind.
