Great trade!
We get a very good offensive prospect who could centre Howse some day and two second rounders for a guy who might IMO someday be in Gio's class.
I never understood the buzz about Erixon. He scores points in the SEL, but put up minimal pts in WJS and WC. His +/- is not too great either. And I recall him getting owned every time I point him out at the juniors.
The the 2nd round picks are great! This years draft is a crap shoot after the top 4. That is both bad and good. It's totally 50/50 IMO.
Having more picks increases the chances of drafting the next great Flame.
It also makes the draft more interesting.
I hope Jay can get us more picks.
