I paid $125/hr to get this done and sat for about 9 or 10 hours total first session was the outline, second was blues and the lotus flowers, the third was the Koi. I also went in for one touch up session since my arm was actually pushing the red ink out when it was getting done.
I was quoted $400 for the entire sleeve by one place but after seeing his outstanding work thanks to a Polaroid flip book, I decided my wife with a paint by numbers tattoo set would do a better job. So do your research its there for life.

This looks really awesome. My only peeve with sleeve tattoos is the abrupt cutoff at the cuff that a lot of people have. It looks too artificial. I would have had the bottom edge more like the top edge at the shoulder where there is a natural creeping out of the design where the water splashes out. I understand the need to be able to wear short sleeves and a tattoo but I think that sleeve tattoos should only have a small portion reach that edge for a more natural transition.
