Mumford and Sons - Sigh No More.
Best album I have heard in a long time. It might be a bit more mellow than you're looking for though, although there is a wide variety of stuff on the album.
Listen to their clips, and check out their videos on Youtube. It's great when you first hear it, but the more you listen, the more it grows on you. Kind of like an ear fungus, I guess.
