I have a real issue with not buying entire albums. I literally cannot pull the trigger on a song (Subdivisions) that I know I would enjoy the entire album (Signals). I would love to fill in some large gaps in my collection, but I want to fill most of those gaps with entire albums. I can't buy a Drive By Truckers SONG for instance. Are you kidding me? What a waste.
So....In order to spend these gift cards and start making use of iTunes (My lifetime iTunes history consists of the purchase of 1 out of print album and a free single, the rest of my library is ripped from CDs ) I am looking for 30 epic songs.
Ground rules
1. Rock only please....I have an extremely limited taste for hip-hop and own most of the country I could ever imagine having. Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Ke$ha, Bieber....and their ilk are off limits.
2. I like melody, crunchy guitars, minor chords, no death metal etc. Not just that stuff, but those are some things to go on. I do like a wide variety of rock.
3. Could be from any era. Many of my favorite albums are 40 years old or more.
I will wait for a bunch of suggestions and the post the 30 songs I go with......or nobody will reply, I'll cry a little and buy 3 albums a week from now.
