Latest numbers are 139 dead, 44 on the missing list over a 1000 treated for injuries. At least one of the victims lost their life because of infection after surviving the tornado. Right now getting peoples wounds looked at, cultured and cleaned is a major effort in the medical community.
Identification of victims has slowed down because, to be blunt, they are no longer dealing with identifiable parts so DNA testing is required.
Can't find the exact number but from memory FEMA put the number of residences destroyed at over 6200 homes. Something like 2000 were not insured.
Many of the major businesses said they will be rebuilding already which is a good thing.
