Most jobs do not give credit for sick days accumulated.
That is a rare perk, and lucky for anybody to get. In terms of an outsider's view, I would have trouble siding with anybody asking for sick day accumulations and sick day payouts.
Sick days should not relate to the physical demands of the job. Medical insurance/benefits would be the correct category for that.
