For those who are "in the know" more than I about typical extreme weather activity, I'm curious if you think this means anything or not in terms of weather patterns. Is this just a year where things are bad or is this a trend we are seeing that is gradually getting worse from one year to the next? And if so do you think there are significant contributing factors leading to it or just Mother Nature taking her course so to speak?

It seems like every year when you hear about this stuff on TV it's getting worse and worse but things aren't always as they seem. Obviously the amount of life lost this year is off the charts in comparison to the norm, but it is concerning though when you hear about these tornadoes and it always was a case of one touching down but out in some farmers field where no life was lost, but now we see them charging right through cities and towns.

I see some folks on here from the affected areas, best wishes to all of you.
