The 'Rapture' DID come - and now the world may end on OCTOBER 21 instead: Preacher breaks his silence on 'interesting' weekend with bizarre new theory

I personally hope Camping survives another 5 months to see Oct. 21st come and go and have to explain that one as well. He's actually made 12 failed predictions of the end of the world since the 1970s though, so I guess he's used to this.
Personally, I do well with deadlines but I can see why organized religion wouldn't.

Little things like accountability and results can be a real headache in The Rapture prediction business.

Then again, he was able to raise and spend $100 million after 12 failed predictions earlier so that might be confirmation right there of a certain persistent gullability among fans of organized religion.

Great example of grassroots marketing.
