Combine that with un affordable wages, benefits and pension packages, which made them uncompetitive on a global scale.

And yes bad product lines and poor management. But Unions have been the bullet in the auto industry for years.

Look at whats happening with the teachers unions and the Steel industry where Unions are not helping.
