Troutman will be pleased to know I have a Buster Posey authentic world series jersey on order. I have to admit I felt a little dirty when I hit the order button. Should be a good collectible some day.
As for my Padres, offense lately has actually picked up and now the pitching is falling apart. I have watched every game so far in the season.
Maybin has been on fire lately and been the most notable contributor, great speed on the bases too. Hudson and Hundley are on the short DL. Ludwick has been awful, for a time there he went 0 for 21 but recently got a couple of hits in the series against the Rockies this past weekend. Denorfia and Hawpe have shown improvement. Venable is nothing like he was last year, not sure why he is swinging at everything. Bartlett and Headley have been relatively consistent for getting on base. Johnson and Phillips have been filling for Hundley's role quite well and contributed to the offense.
For pitching, Stauffer has been the most consistent to me however he seems to burn out after 5 innings. Latos is throwing outside a lot, too many walks, he did crank a nice homer though in the Arizona series I believe. Richard is great at home with a very low ERA but terrible as of late on the recent road trip. Moseley started out having a spectacular April with an ERA somewhere around 1.38 but last two games I watched he just didn't have the same command of the ball. Harang is another that started out great with 4-0 start but has lost the last few games (he had a nasty flu bug so not sure if that has thrown him off).
