Clearly she planned this trip home on your 6th month "anniversary" so she didn't have to buy anything or do anything special...Just like how I plan trips around my anniversaries, then I can tell my girlfriend we shouldn't do anything for the anniversary since we are going on the trip. Joke is on her since we would probably go on a trip anyway....
