This thread is complete public health disaster.
Always use condoms unless you are in a stable, monogamous relationship in which both partners have been tested at the 3 month mark of the relationship.
Condoms provide good protection against HIV, but only partial protection against the bacterial infections, which can be transmitted skin to skin, and provide almost no protection against herpes and HPV.
Chances are, you are totally safe if you wrapped it up during a random encounter. If you're afraid of something, go after 6 weeks, if you can't wait (which is sort of the bottom line for HIV testing). Otherwise, just wait for the 3 month mark and get tested for total peace of mind. This stuff is pretty serious, even though the risks are low, people do get infected with HIV and the other STIs.
