I've taken a tour with a Contiki competitor, topdeck I think it was. They were pretty decent experience and price wise. But this was 4 years ago when I went.

I went to Europe for a three week tour back then. Tours were run by Aussies and we got bussed pretty much everywhere, we got to cut lines on most the major tourist destinations as well.
