I have been monitoring its reviews, and 80% is the lowest it has been at (in the 90's most of the week).
Checked it out a few hours ago. I agree that it was very well done, and much better than I expected. Marvel/Disney is doing a wonderful job in creating their own unique universe of heroes though each of their films. DC must be jealous as all hell, and it's too damn bad Disney does not have the rights to Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, and X-Men.
Make sure you stay after the credits btw. Always been a fan on the CC myself. I just wonder who the villain will be for the Avengers movie (or will it be a combination of many).
I did see it in 3D (free with 1000 Scene points). Not a huge fan in 3D in general, but it wasn't a distraction like it was in other films (Clash of the Titans). You won't miss much seeing it in 2D, but without the additional $3 fee, the 3D is worth it.
Oh and loved the cameos by
Hawkeye, and Luke Cage! (not 100% sure the one guy was
Cage though).
Honestly with Super 8, Cowboys & Aliens, Captain America, X-Men First Class, and a couple other films (other than Pirates and Transformers) I am pretty amped for the other "Summer" 2011 movies. Sorry Blaster... it could be good!
