Flirting is to the compliment as the photograph is to the motion picture. It lasts longer and has more words. All flirting means, in a gentle, non-commital way, is "I like you and would like you to flirt back with me."
Flirting = inviting further conversation, letting someone know one finds them likable, giving you an opening to express your wittiness or interest. It can be an invitation for you to insert innuendo. (and ONLY your innuendo!!)
I'd categorize that as a mild (30% on the flirt-o-meter) flirt. And say that she is opening the door for you to flirt back.
At the very least you should send a flirty text back. Even better, come zinging back with an innuendo. And by that I mean, "make a desert suggestion that leaves HER wondering if its really about desert".
