I loved it and thought Greg Daniels did a perfect job. This show has always been comedy first, but it's had it's sweet moments. I enjoyed the sentiment to it all and just how far Michael has grown. I agree... couldn't have said it better myself.
The relationships between the characters has been key to the show, and I'm glad they focussed on that, rather than an off-the-wall zany goodbye to Michael.
I also loved that his final line was a muffled 'that's what she said'.
