A party leader being implicated in a potential crime days before an election is news. My outrage would be if they made stuff up. As long as they are just reporting the facts, then nothing is being done wrong. Every time a CPC candidate opens his mouth and says something stupid, it becomes national news. I don't sit here complaining that it shouldn't be covered. I think to myself that that was a stupid thing to say and he/she should be smarter than that.
At any rate, this is probably going to hurt the Conservatives more than the NDP (as ridiculous as that is) so you can just relax. Harper is still gonna "pay".
