The Browns have traded the No. 6 overall pick to the Atlanta Falcons, who hold the No. 27 pick in the first round.

In exchange, the Browns received the 27th, 59th (second round) and 124th (fourth round) in 2011, as well as the Falcons’ first and fourth round picks in the 2012 NFL Draft.

The Browns traded the 27th overall pick and a third round selection to the Kansas City Chiefs and moved up to the 21st spot.

I think that is a great return for the 6th pick.

It is a great return for moving down...however picking Phil Taylor afterwards was just bizarre to me.

he is a great big nose guard who is built to anchor a 3-4 defense.

Their new DC Dick Jauron is implementing a 4-3 defense and it "looks" to be a horrible fit from that perspective.

Also with such a young QB in McCoy and a glaring need for someone to get open for the kid, the player chosen is even more puzzling. 29th on offense overall last year...just weird to me, but I like Holmgren and very much trust in him when it comes to personnel so maybe he has a plan for it all that makes some sense.
