But you never know on what topics certain personalities will take leave of common sense. They don't have to be stupid or racist. That's a misconception.
Generally, one-third of people are susceptible to not just one conspiracy, but several, and what they may believe will have something to do with their political point of view. A sizeable chunk of Democrats believe GW Bush had some part in the 9-11 attack while nearly half of Republicans believe there is something to the Obama birther controversy.
Fortunately, the majority of people have sufficient sense to believe neither.
