- OJ trial verdict. Can't remember, at work probably.

- Princess Diana death. Had just arrived at my mom's near Edson, watched the coverage on TV.

- 9/11. Was on vacation and sleeping in when my wife woke me...very surreal. I had to push my vacation out by a couple of weeks to travel to D.C. for work. During some time off we went to the Pentagon to see if there were any tours. We parked on by the renos and as we were walking up I noticed planes flying right over top on their way to Reagan. I commented to my colleagues that I thought it strange that they would allow planes to fly over it...what if one crashed in to it.

- Canada hockey gold in Vancouver. Watching on TV at home.

- Gretzky trade. Don't remember

- Flames eliminating the Canucks in OT, game 7, 2004. Working late, listening on the radio...'feels shame'

- Challenger explosion. Don't remember

- 1st Iraq Gulf war. Working..probably
