If it goes through it's still not going to solve the attendance issues, which cannot be ignored. As much as you don't like to hear this, economies are just that much more healthy in Canada right now. A new owner in Phoenix doesn't mean people will start flocking to the games.
There's bigger issues at stake here than just a new source of cash (which Hulsizer can't pay in full anyways. A bad omen).
