No it isn't.
The general population is so hopeless in the health field. I'd like to meet the people writing these books/giving this advice so I can elbow them in the head.
People see the hard truth and think "no, that's too hard, I don't like that", and become chumps and buy/take any advice that's thrown at them that sounds more appealing and easier.
Lose weight by hard work and good eating habits or.. LOSE WEIGHT BY EATING ANYTHING YOU WANT ONE DAY A WEEK WOOHOO!!
I guess it doesn't matter in the end. 99.9% of you trying will gain all the weight back and probably more. Those that do lose it and maintain it are the ones actually heeding the proper advice and seeking it from the proper sources (rather than the internet).
